Okay. Story time. So I go to high school in australia which is grades 7-12 meaning the ages are roughly 12-18. On the last day of this year only grades 7-9 were at school (so like ages 13-15) and the principal decided to put this movie on for everyone to watch. As soon as it started I was like “wow, what a wonderful movie to be watching” and it was very nice and calming with everyone silently watching. But as soon as Mr Dicker came out all hell broke loose (remember the ages- all immature teenagers). All my friends and literally the entire rest of the school that was there started laughing, making dirty jokes, clapping and screaming. And this was the mood of the entire rest of the movie and it was *AMAZING.* like I lost my voice because I was screaming so loud. We were like everyone when they first saw endgame in cinemas- clapping, screaming, all that jazz. When frozone came out it was *SO LOUD* in that building. When jack-jack got his powers, even louder. But NOTHING, I repeat *NOTHING,* beat the thunderous applause and deafening screams when Edna came out for the first time. Like we all *lost out minds* over an animated character. *OH!* and everyone also clapped and screamed whenever they showed elastagirls ass. The animators went a lil’ crazy on this but we all loved it. Anyway, that’s the end of my story. You’re welcome lmao. Btw, yes, the entire movie my friends were making jokes about mr dicker. “I bet Mr dicker would be able to take your gaze away from those screens” “I see... and would you like mr dicker to help with that?” “Oi, don’t be so mean to mr dicker” “ITS ALL MR DICKERS FAULT” “mmm mr dicker” “WOOOO MR DICKER! Dylan is just so smart, gosh. Also Mr. Incredible/Mr. Parr wasn't jealous of her or her success, he was more or less jealous that she got to do superhero work and he was doing the mundane housework rather than helping people. He forgot that he could be a Super Dad, a superhero for his kids. It wasn't until Violet told him that he was super that he realized it's something he could be.

It surprised me when he was surprised that Jack-Jack had powers, but then I realized that not everyone may have watched "Jack Attack" the special that came with the DVD from the first movie. I've watched the first one so many times it's tradition in our family, knowing every word 🤣. So yeah I already knew he had powers before this movie came out. If y'alls don't know what the special is, it's just that scene where that babysitter called Helen when she, Violet, and Dash were one the plane, saying she's got this. The whole special is her babysitting the baby, struggling to keep up with his powers. It's hilarious 😂. BUT ALSO....... it showed at the end of the movie too.... 🤦‍♀️ I still like the monster design in the first movie, it was scarier (that scene was 🔥)

There's a Lego game made as a direct sequel to the first movie, which I kind of suspect this movie is based off of, because it has the exact same plot and came of a while before this movie. It's weird, because it's dubbed as "LEGO The Incredibles: The Game" and as far as I know, there's no game adaptation of the first movie.

Disney (and I mean *Disney* Disney, not other companies Disney now owns like 20th Century or Marvel, etc...) movies can be hit or miss. But Disney Pixar movies are ALWAYS hit, and it’s because 1. I *think* they’re always only working on one project at a time. And 2. They work on each film for several years, fine tuning it and really workshopping it. So because of this, they’re always SUPER well-written, the jokes and humor have been workshopped until they have the best possible jokes, the character design is always great, the art style is always great, and the animation in general is always absolutely insane. Because they put so much detail into it. They’ve actually invented several animation programs in order to do something they needed to do but nothing existed for it yet. They individually animated each single hair moving on Sully in every frame of Monster’s Inc. When I watch Finding Nemo, and Marlon is chasing the boat and he comes up out of the water to look around, the level of reality of that water of the surface of the ocean STILL just absolutely blows me away. Pixar films are always so incredible because they take the time and the effort to get everything perfect. They invent entire programs if they need to animate something and it’s not really possible yet. They always make sure to get the writing, the story and the characters, really tight and funny well-done and balanced, like so that the characters work really well off each other. Like Russell and Carl in Up. Or Buzz and Woody - this also shows how good they are at voice casting. They’re just always so good. By the way, you keep saying you don’t know something is Disney until you start watching it; you could look it up if you wanted; of course it’s Disney, it’s Pixar; lastly, basically anything you’re going to watch is going to be Disney now because Disney owns like half of Hollywood now. They own basically everything, so anything you watch is probably owned by Disney now.
