I saw this in my recommended and I was like “Not that one. That one makes me cry.” Because I’ve seen it before. I lost my uncle to drug issues. Courtney’s reaction messes with me the most. Keith and Noah’s do too but it doesn’t hit as hard. They handled it way better than I would’ve.

Im currently 13. this commwnt might hve some spelling mistakes because im dyslexic and shaking and my dyslexic gets worse during panic attacks and breakdowns and stuff. growing up in a house with parents that were drug users, i had the empression that that was how everyone lived. Me being 5 had to teach myself how to take care of my two little sisters because my parents were to out of it to do anything. I had to learn how to change diapers, make bottles, cook dinner, get everyone ready for school, and so much more stuff my parents shouldve been doing. My life has never been easy. It still isnt. But what i have learned is that drugs effect people so much. Seeing the reactions they had made me go into a mental breakdown because i remembered how i used to live. my parents divorced when i was 7 and got help. my mom met my stepdad when i was 8 and got into drugs again and tore the little family we have started apart. i blame my stepdad for that bit. i moved in with my dad at 11. for the past 2 years i have been suffering with depression and anxiety. my dad is very christian and wont let me go to counciling. please, never do drugs. it effects the people around you too. i shouldve have to suffer because of my parents bad choices.

I have been surrounded by addiction all my life. My mother is an alcoholic, and an addict (I thankfully didn't follow the same path). Alot of the issues especially in the US with Heroine and Opiate addiction is due to pharmaceutical companies pushing doctors to perscribe thier products. Doctors over prescribe incredibly addictive narcotic drugs when in most cases there are much safer and less addictive alternatives. On top of that pharmaceutical lobbyists have made the use of natural things like Ayahuasca that have been proven to break addictions with a much higher success rate then thier prescription alternative highly illegal. Its all about money, and if you follow it it leads right back to big pharma.

Omg. I felt so bad for everyone. Especially Courtney. I literally cried. I have dealt with addiction my whole life whether it be me or my family and it is scary. I feel for them seeing what could happen and I wish more people had the opportunity to see what could happen to them before they go down the wrong path.
